Jamie Bell, 17, came into the band having known Josh from a local football club, and was familiar with David from shared sessions at London’s Pineapple dance studio. Jamie’s taken roles in shows like Oliver (as a workhouse boy) and Grange Hill. ‘He’s far too sensible for his age,’ David huffs. ‘He should be out with all the women, fighting and all sorts. But he’s not! So I have to do instead.

Who Would You Like To Knock Out: Jennifer Ellison's boyfriend so i can date her!

On Triple 8: We're not putting on a front, we're not being told by anyone what to say or what not to say, we're five lads with opinions. It's time for some honesty in pop!

On 'N Sync: I've listened to them for years, I've got all their videos. I love them cos they put on a good show! I just could not go see Blue in concert! I'd fall asleep! When I see a show, I wanna be entertained and to find it interesting, and i don't think many British acts do that at the moment!

On school: I went to Sylvia Young [London drama school] for seven years, and I've wanted to be a performer for ages! I was there with Matt [Busted]- He's a great lad!

Celeb crush: Actress Jennifer Ellsion. Well Angelina Jolie, but I'll never meet her so Jennifer will have to do!

On girls: I'm not gonna say I go for personality, cos anyone who says that is a liar! I like a good body and nice eyes. I'm single at the moment. Me and my girlfriend finished a few months ago because of my job!
