Who Would You like To Knock Out?: The rest of the band, especially when they interupt my interviews!

On other boy bands: We're gonna get labelled with them but that's cool. I rate some things about Blue - Lee's a fantastic singer. But I reckon everytime Blue bring out a song, it sounds like a medley of their last three tracks. And as for One True Voice what are they about?

On band highlights so far: Definitley shooting the video. It was quite embarassing to think that the dancer and everyone were there just for us - especially when at the end the director made them ive us a round of applause! We went to the pub with the crew after and I remember thinking 'I hope we're going to be doing this in three videos' time.' I don't want us to change!

On growing up: I was into boxing from the ages of 10 to 16. I was always the naughty kid at school. I got into fights, got expelled 4 times and I liked being bad! Then I got to 16 and realised it was time to grow up. My dad's a soul singer, so I gave up boxing and decided to get into singing. I'm not saying I'm a totally good boy now of course. I think everyone's got a streak of naughtiness in them!

On girls: I'm not gonna bullshit you and say I go for personality. I've got to fancy a girl. I like tall girls with good eyes. My girlfriend still does it for me - she's beautiful!

On biggest fears: To start believeing my own hype!

Leos are meant to be born leaders... But I'm not. I don't think there should be one in the band.

People should buy our single because... If you don't, you'll only spend money on sweets.

My worst habit is... Being messy. We all live together and it really annoys Josh.

The best thing about me is... I'm always up for a laugh.

Triple 8 are much better than... All the other boy bands in the world!

My weakness is for... Girls!

I could talk for hours about... Football, food and girls. I'm a Liverpool fan.

I'm scared of... Flying.

If I wasn't in a band I'd be... In the dole queue!

After music, my second love is... Football and eating. I'll share anything except a Dominos Pizza!

I'm rubbish at... Cooking!

My dream girl is... Pink.

If we don't get to Number 1... I'll cry!

I'm the loudest and always last to leave party. I'm a lad - I burp, I fart and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

 Do the the other Eights like to party?

Yep, but I've taught them a thing or two. We had a wild night in Sweden and I taught them how to drink tequila. You put salt up your nose, squeeze lime in your eye and swallow the tequila. Justin was like “Are you for real?”

 When did you last stay out all night?

Last night – my sister came down from Blackpool and we stayed out until 6am. I don’t think you can work this hard without letting off steam. Me and Sparx like to go to our local and watch the football. VIP rooms are boring. I’d rather be on the dancefloor.

 Are you a good dancer?

When I’m drunk I think I’m the best – I think I’m Michael Jackson. I’m a disater when I start sobering up!

 Have you partied with any celebs?

Pink bought me a Pina Colada. But she’s engaged, so I’m just going to have to get rid of her boyfriend.

What are you like when you’re out? 

A true northener. I’ve not met many southeners who can go all night. Me and my mates are rowdy and loud. Most nights we don’t get into trouble but occasionally there’s a fight…

 Uh oh, you sound like trouble…

I don’t go looking for fights, but I won’t walk away either. I was expelled from four schools because I got into fights.

 What’s the funniest thing you’ve done on a night out?

Me and my mate were so drunk one night we took our pants down and flashed our bits in front of this bus. It stopped and everyone was just staring at us. We just stood there laughting.

 How does a typical night end?

With a tube of Pringles – I won’t rest until I’ve eaten the whole thing.

You were almost famous once before, right?

My band Highways was signed to Edel records. It was D Mac, Dante and me, but we had a big fall out. Suddenly, it was over!

Must’ve been tough!

I worked in my parents’ pub in Blackpool, waiting for a chance!

Did ya find normal life dull?

No, it was my best job! I worked great hours, I met girls, and had cash to buy clothes and CDs!

You’re v. determined this time…

We want to work, coz we’re the only five people who can make Triple Eight successful (thinks)But we do like to party too!

Did ya try other jobs?

Modelling then boxing – I wanted to turn pro! My dad hoped I’d be a singer like him!

You don’t need exams for that!

Phew! I wasn’t good at school, I got kicked outta 4, for fighting! I was even put in police cells!

Bet yer classmates were scared!

My gang weren’t bullies – but we looked like we could.

They say gals like a bad boy…

I dunno! I was a fat kid, but once I was boxing, girls started to like me. I was about 15.

Bet you were confident then!

I've never, ever chatted a girl up. Seriously, I wouldn’t know what to say. I couldn’t ask a girl out.
